Fermol 2 (Sacch. bayanus)

This is our “Work-horse” multi-purpose Bayanus yeast which is alcohol tolerant (up to 17%) and frequently used to restart stuck fermentations. Fermol 2 produces neutral flavors with low VA and no sulfides. It does ferment best between 50°F-86°F (10°C-30°C). This yeast is very resistant to low temperatures, its fermentation is consistent and regular under different conditions. 

Fermol 2 has low nutrition needs and does not produce significant amounts of SO2.
